Your CRM AI Agent Moved a Contact to the Wrong Company

Your CRM AI agent works from a list. Yesterday, a deal on that list showed up as won. So the agent filed the customer under the company named on that deal, and crossed the job off its list. But the deal really belonged to a different company. The agent never checked. It saw one screen and believed it.

Now a customer sits under the wrong company. Nobody notices until a salesperson opens the account mid-call and the history makes no sense. Nobody can tell who actually bought what.

Banks solved this decades ago. Every night, someone at the bank compares the bank’s records against the customer’s statements. Any number that does not match gets frozen until a person explains it. Nothing moves until both records agree.

Next team meeting, ask this out loud: “Before the agent changes any customer record, does it compare two records first, and stop when they don’t match?”

InTheValley‘s senior engineers know how to build that fix.
